Event Overview

Three days.  Here's how it all comes together.

Wednesday

10.7.26

Opening Day

Wednesday features two panels. The first looks at how apprenticeships move adults into good jobs, then turns to where California's job market is heading, what skills employers are hiring for, and what colleges can do to prepare adult learners. The second panel, Pathways to Possibility, looks at noncredit's role serving individuals with disabilities: how noncredit programs combine education, workforce prep, and community partnerships to help students reach their goals.

Thursday

10.8.26

Summit Day

A keynote from California Community Colleges Chancellor Sonya Christian opens a full day of peer-led sessions and real conversations about what is working across California's noncredit landscape. Four concurrent tracks run throughout the day. That evening, plan for a fun night out on the town.

Friday

10.9.26

Looking Forward

Friday shifts from practice to what comes next. Hear directly from students about how AI is changing what is possible for them, how chamber partnerships are meeting real employer demand, and what apprenticeship programs are opening up for adult learners. We close with awards before noon.
